Wealth management traces its roots back to 1935.

From their humble beginnings during the Great Depression, Wealth Management began as the trust department but has now expanded to include investment management, financial planning and other wealth services. Wealth Management helps individuals, families, businesses and nonprofits manage, enhance and preserve wealth.

Building on a long history of responsible decision-making and a commitment to meeting client needs, we offer a full range of products and services designed to help our clients reach their long-term financial goals.

While we’re part of HTLF, our services are offered locally at Bank of Blue Valley, a division of HTLF Bank. Our community-based wealth advisors work with each client to focus our resources and experience on meeting specific needs and objectives.

The hallmark of our approach is an insistence on building durable client relationships based on personal service, innovation and trust.

Who is HTLF?

We’ve been managing wealth individuals and entities for more than 80 years, allowing us an understanding of the issues that matter to you, and the experience to address them. We combine the resources of HTLF, a consortium of local community banks located in the Midwest and Western United States, with the personalized service and commitment of a specialized and unique wealth advisory firm. Most importantly, we understand our clients, we care deeply and we are committed to building a long-term relationship.

Our business model is unique in the financial services industry; while HTLF provides highly efficient administrative and operational support, each bank maintains a high degree of independence and is empowered to serve local communities and businesses as only a local organization can. This approach – which blends big bank resources with community bank service – has helped us enjoy significant growth in recent years, and it enables substantial benefits for our customers.
