The Dream- A Full-Service Bank Focused on the Community
Bank of Blue Valley began as an idea of what a community bank focused on the success of local residents and businesses should be. Bob Regnier, President, Chairman and CEO of Bank of Blue Valley, wanted to create a community bank where convenience, community partnerships and personal relationships were principal tenets supported by the best banking services available.
In 1989, Bob founded Bank of Blue Valley as a locally-owned, locally-managed community bank ready to assist residents and businesses in Johnson County and the Kansas City area with their banking and lending needs. Through building lasting relationships based on quality customer service, Bank of Blue Valley has been able to expand to the current five banking locations today in Overland Park, Olathe, Shawnee, Leawood and Lenexa. These strategically placed locations, along with extended banking hours (seven days per week) and the latest banking innovations have made Bank of Blue Valley a respected and trusted name in the community and regional banking.
Entrepreneurship and Philanthropy in the Community
Saying you help in the community is one thing, but actually following through on that commitment is another. Through encouraging the growth of entrepreneurship and fostering a spirit of philanthropy, Bank of Blue Valley has left an unmistakable imprint on our area. These two important areas of focus have been essential to Bank of Blue Valley’s identity since our founding in 1989.
Bob Regnier recognized the importance of entrepreneurs and the pioneering ideas they bring to our local economy, which is why Bank of Blue Valley continues to support them today. Not only do start-ups and new small businesses bring additional revenue to our communities, but they also create new jobs. Bank of Blue Valley works with these innovators to help their dreams and ideas become realities that help our communities evolve.
The health of non-profit groups and community organizations is also critical to our local area’s vitality. Bank of Blue Valley’s associates have had a steadfast commitment to philanthropic efforts from day one, whether through official events at the bank or by volunteering their own time. The spirit of philanthropy at Bank of Blue Valley continues to guide us to be a respected, contributing member of our community.
