    Bob has been a director and the President and Chief Executive Officer of the Company and the Bank since their formation in 1989. He has also been the sole director and President and Chief Executive Officer of Blue Valley Investment Corporation since its formation in 1995, and of Blue Valley Building Corp. since its formation in 1994.

    Prior to forming Blue Valley Ban Corp., Bob held various managerial positions with Boatmen’s Bank and Trust and Boatmen’s First National Bank of Kansas City. He has over 40 years of experience in a number of banking areas, including lending, investments, personnel, administration, trust, operations, new business development and mergers.

    Bob serves on the Board of Directors of the Civic Council of Greater Kansas City, Union Station Kansas City, Inc., Greater Kansas City Community Foundation, Kansas City Area Life Sciences Institute, Kanza Valley Capital (formerly known as Kansas Venture Capital), Inc., UMKC Foundation, and The Overland Park Chamber of Commerce, as well as the Board of Trustees of MRIGlobal. Bob also has extensive community relations experience with his involvement in civic, business, and philanthropic organizations in the Kansas City metropolitan area.

    Mark has been with the Company and the Bank since May 1998. He serves as Chief Financial Officer and/or Treasurer of Blue Valley Ban Corp., Blue Valley Building Corp., and Blue Valley Investment Corporation, and Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of the Bank. He is responsible for oversight of all financial reporting and analysis, bank operations, human resources, compliance, internal audit, loan review, information technology, facilities, administration, and marketing.

    Mark also serves on the Technology, Asset/Liability Management, Compliance, Marketing and Work-Life Committees of the Bank. He is a certified public accountant, and for ten years prior to joining Blue Valley served in various positions, including Audit Manager, at Baird, Kurtz & Dobson (now BKD, LLP), a public accounting firm in Kansas City, Missouri. His prior experience includes bank consulting and auditing, bank mergers and acquisitions, public securities offerings and periodic SEC reporting.

    Mark is a member of the Missouri Society of CPAs and the American Institute of CPAs. He has served as treasurer on various not-for-profit boards and remains an active executive board member of the University of Kansas Accounting and Information Systems Advisory Council as a past chair.

    Bruce became Executive Vice President – Chief Lending Officer on November 10, 2008. He is responsible for managing the commercial lending team as well as serving as a member of the Loan, Asset/Liability Management, Technology and Compliance committees. Bruce started his banking career as a bank examiner working for the Illinois Commissioner of Banks and Trust Companies in the Northern District of Chicago from 1982 to 1985.

    Over the years he has gained considerable experience working with Continental Bank, Toronto Dominion Bank, Merchants Bank (which became Boatmen’s First National Bank of Kansas City), NationsBank, Bank of America, US Bank and Valley View State Bank.

    Bruce has a B.S. in business economics from Southern Illinois University and an M.B.A. in finance from DePaul University’s Graduate School of Business.

    Bonnie joined the Bank in 1990. In December of 2008, she was promoted to Senior Vice President. She is responsible for the oversight of the Deposit Operations, Retail Deposit Operations and e-Business Solutions departments as part of the Finance Administration and Operational Solutions Division. Bonnie also handles implementation for new products and acts as the primary contact for the Bank’s core processing provider.

    Bonnie serves on the Technology, Asset/Liability Management, Compliance and Marketing Committees of the Bank. She is also the Security Officer for the Bank. Bonnie has been in banking since 1980, holding various positions including Teller, Personal Banker, Loan Operations and Deposit Operations and holds an Associate’s Degree in Paralegal Studies.

    Steve has been with Bank of Blue Valley since 2001 and currently serves as the Director of Sales and Business Development. His primary focus in that position is leading the sales efforts by establishing sales targets for each division, developing individualized sales plans for each team member and implementing sales strategies that help the Bank achieve its growth goals.

    A graduate of Drury College with a B.A., in business administration, Steve also earned a diploma from the ABA National Commercial Lending School. Steve lives in Overland Park with his wife, Ashley. The couple are parents to three children, two red-headed twins, Jack and Emily, and Natalie, who is no longer with them. The family also includes the BEST dog, Meg, a golden retriever. Steve has also been very active in volunteering for a variety of organizations throughout the years, including Girl Scouts of NE Kansas & NW Missouri, Olathe Chamber of Commerce, KidsTLC f/k/a TLC For Children & Families, Kansas City Area Development Council, Leadership Olathe, Kansas City Tomorrow, and Natalie’s A.R.T. Foundation. When it comes to sports, Steve is a fan of St. Louis Cardinals, Chiefs, Drury Panthers and any University of Missouri sports team.

    Don has been a director of the Company and member of its Audit Committee since 1992. He has also been a director of the Bank since its formation in 1989. Don is a private investor with a background in commercial banking. In addition to his positions with the Company and the Bank, he has also been President and Director of Alexander & Associates, Inc. in Kansas City, Kansas, a private investment company, since 1987; Chairman of Tulsa Power, LLC in Tulsa, Oklahoma, a machinery fabrication company, since 1998; and Chairman of C.D.I, Industrial and Mechanical Contractors, Inc. in Kansas City, Kansas, since 2003.

    Don served as a Director of the Winston Churchill Memorial Library in Fulton, Missouri, Advisory Director of Nijenrode International Business School of Breukelen, the Netherlands, and trustee of the Eye Institute, Kansas City, Missouri. He is currently trustee of Rockhurt University, Kansas City, Missouri. He brings to the Board both his knowledge of the banking industry as well as his experience as a Chairman of a Board. His tenure on the Company’s Board provides him with a deep understanding of the business of the Company and the market in which it competes and provides continuity to the Board as a whole. Don qualifies as an Audit Committee financial expert.

    Dick brings a long history of serving on boards and committees and working with community organizations to the Board. Dick earned his B.A. (1957) and J.D. (1960) degrees from the University of Kansas and University of Kansas Law School, and is currently a member of the Kansas Bar Association, Bar PAC and the Johnson County Bar Association.

    Dick’s previous experience includes serving in the Kansas Senate representing the 8th District from December 1986 until 2001. Aside from being a current member of the Bank of Blue Valley Board of Directors, Dick also serves on the boards of Midwest Trust Co. of Missouri, Valley View Trust Co., Dean Operations, Inc. and Broderson Manufacturing Corp., and is a consultant for Midwest Trust Co. of Kansas. He has also been involved with numerous community organizations, some of which include the Governor’s Mentors Leadership Council, Kansas Statehouse Restoration Foundation, Kansas Children’s Campaign, Kaw Valley Children’s Center, Wheels for Freedom, Heart of America Boy Scouts Council, Shawnee Mission Medical Center Foundation and the YMCA.

    Dick married his wife, Sue, in 1958, and they have two children and three grandchildren. In his free time, Dick enjoys playing tennis, hunting, fishing and gardening.

    James has been a director of the Company since September 2012 and the Audit Committee Chair since May 2013. He is a former audit partner with PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP (“PwC”), where he served clients principally in the financial services and transportation industries over a 38 year career. He also served in various leadership roles in the firm, including serving as Managing Partner of PwC’s Kansas City office from 1998 – 2011, Global and US Leader of PwC’s Transportation and Logistics Industry Group from 1998-2003, and Managing Partner of the PriceWaterhouse Kansas City office from 1990 - 94.

    He has worked extensively in the transportation and logistics industry with his primary focus being on the rail sector. He has worked on numerous railroad mergers and acquisitions and has provided services to most of the major railroads in North America. Through his service to public clients, James has interacted frequently with Audit Committees and senior executives regarding complex accounting and corporate governance issues. He has been involved in many civic and philanthropic organizations and has also previously been a member of the AICPA and Missouri Society of CPA’s. James qualifies as an Audit Committee Financial Expert.

    Chuck became a director of the Bank in 2000. Mr. Hunter is a principal in Kessinger/Hunter & Company; a Kansas City based real estate brokerage and management company, and has been with Kessigner/Hunter & Company since 1966.  Mr. Hunter served as a director of Boatmen's Bank in Kansas City from 1978 to 1996.  He is also a Board member of the Negro Leagues Baseball Museum and serves as an Ambassador to Children's Mercy Hospital.

  • Thomas A. McDonnell

    Tom rejoined the Company Board in 2015. He is an experienced business leader with a track record of building global organizations that are both innovative and philanthropic, served as President and CEO of DST Systems from 1973 to 2012. Headquartered in Kansas City, DST is a publicly traded company that employs more than 11,000 associates, both domestically and internationally. From 2012 until 2014, McDonnell served as President and CEO of the Ewing Marion Kauffman Foundation. He serves on the Boards of Kansas City Southern and Euronet and has served on the Boards of Garmin, Cerner, Computer Sciences Corporation, BHA Group, and Commerce Bancshares among others.

    His service to Kansas City includes work with a number of prominent local nonprofit institutions, including as chairman of the Greater Kansas City Community Foundation, the Civic Council of Greater Kansas City, the Greater Kansas City Chamber of Commerce, the Kansas City United Way Campaign and the Union Station Project Consultants. McDonnell has been recognized with various honors, including Kansas Citian of the Year in 2003 and the William Jewell College Yates Medallion for Distinguished Civic Service. McDonnell received an honorary Doctorate of Law from the George L. Graziadio School of Business and Management at Pepperdine University. He received a BSBA degree in accounting from Rockhurst University and an MBA in finance from the University of Pennsylvania's Wharton School of Business.

    Anne rejoined the Company Board in 2015. She is the Founder of Global Prairie, a high-growth, digital marketing and advertising agency, with offices in Kansas City, Cleveland, New York, Washington, D.C., Fort Worth, Denver and Berlin, Germany. Founded in 2008, Global Prairie’s business model is rooted in philanthropy: the company donates 10 percent of its annual profits to nonprofit organizations changing the world.

    Anne’s community involvement includes service as Board Chair of the Greater Kansas City Community Foundation, and Chair of the Greater Kansas City Chamber of Commerce, only the third woman to serve in this capacity in its one hundred and twenty-five year history. She is a member of the Board of Directors of the Kansas City Area Life Sciences Institute and the Pembroke Hill School. St. Peter has been recognized in her Kansas City Community as a “Woman Who Means Business” (Kansas City Business Journal), “40 Under 40” (Ingram’s Business Magazine) and Woman Mentor of the Year (The Central Exchange). She is one of three women members of the Kansas City Chapter of the Young Presidents Organization (YPO).  St. Peter is a graduate of Wellesley College.

  • Tony Scavuzzo

    Tony joined the Company Board in 2015. He is a Principal with Castle Creek, an investment firm. Tony is responsible for the identification and evaluation of investment opportunities, transaction execution and portfolio monitoring. He has led or supported investments in numerous recapitalization situations and works with executive management teams on strategic planning, operational improvements, acquisitions, and capital financing transactions. He is currently working with the board of directors of numerous organizations in the financial services industry and serves on various board committees regarding governance, compensation and risk.

    Prior to joining Castle Creek in 2009, Scavuzzo worked in an operating role for the Chief Executive Officer at MB Financial Bank in Chicago where he was responsible for evaluation of merger and acquisition opportunities and capital investment strategy. He also held positions in various departments including corporate treasury, asset/liability management, wealth management, and credit analysis. He holds a M.B.A. in Finance, Accounting, and Entrepreneurship from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business and a B.B.A. in Finance from the University of Iowa. He is also a CFA Charterholder.

  • Robert D. Taylor

    Robert has been a director of the Company since April 2006 and was the Audit Committee Chair April 2006 through May 2013. He is the Chairman Emeritus and director of Executive AirShare Corporation, a fractional aircraft company headquartered in Kansas City, Missouri.

    Robert’s management experience includes serving as Chairman and CEO of Railroad Savings Bank, a $600 million publicly traded savings and loan, and Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Rent-A-Center, a large consumer rental company. He serves as the Chairman of the Board of Elecsys Corporation, an Olathe, Kansas-based technology and electronics manufacturer specializing in machine to machine (M2M) communication solutions for industrial applications. As a member of the Board of Elecsys, Robert serves on the Audit and Compensation Committees. He is a trustee of University of Kansas Endowment Fund and a member of the Board of Advisors for the School of Business at the University of Kansas.

    Robert brings his financial expertise and his experience as the chief executive officer, chairman of the board and chief financial officer of a publicly-traded company to the Board. He has previously served on the board and audit committee of Inergy L.P., a Kansas City, Missouri-based midstream operations company operating natural gas storage facilities and related businesses. Robert qualifies as an Audit Committee Financial Expert.

    Ryan joined the Bank Board in 2015. He is President and CEO of Haas & Wilkerson Insurance. Founded in 1939, Haas & Wilkerson is the nation’s largest independently owned risk management and brokerage firm, specializing in insuring outdoor amusements and entertainment. In addition to its presence in family entertainment insurance nationally, Wilkerson has led Haas & Wilkerson's growth in recent years to include many traditional local and regional middle market clients as well as a quickly growing personal insurance market focused on affluent homeowners. In 2004, Wilkerson succeeded his father to become the third generation Wilkerson to own and direct the family business.

    Ryan serves as a Director of the Council of Insurance Agents and Brokers and serves on the leadership committee of the Kansas City Young Presidents Organization, having recently been elected by YPO Western Region members in seven states to represent them on the YPO Western Region Board of Directors.

    Steve joined the Bank Board in 2015. He had recently retired as President and CEO of Menorah Medical Center, part of HCA Midwest Health, after 18 years in that position. During his tenure, Wilkinson's leadership, strategic vision and passion helped Menorah Medical Center grow and expand to become one of Kansas City's best-known healthcare assets. Prior to joining Menorah, Wilkinson was CEO of St. Catherine Hospital in Garden City, Kan.

    Steve has served on numerous nonprofit and community boards, including as Chairman of the Overland Park Chamber of Commerce. He is a recipient of the Kansas Hospital Association’s Charles S. Billings Award, and under Wilkinson’s leadership, Menorah was recognized by the Kansas Award for Excellence program in 2006.

    Bryce began working at Bank of Blue Valley in 2011 and works with local business owners on a daily basis. His main focus is solving problems of business owners and helping them achieve their goals through providing consultation and financing options that allow them to focus on their employees and customers. 

    Bryce graduated from Pittsburg State University with a B.S. in finance and a minor in economics and continues to cheer for his Pitt State Gorillas athletic teams along with the Royals, Chiefs and KU Jayhawks. Outside of work, Bryce is a Board Member with Junior Achievement, teaches Junior Achievement programs to elementary students, participates in Teach Children to Save, coaches his son’s little league baseball team, participates in various bank-sponsored activities and is a member of the 2015 Leadership Overland Park Chamber of Commerce class. He is married to Lori, who keeps everyone in line at home and is a wonderful wife and mother. They have two boys, Brady and Brendan that enjoy being outdoors and are active in a variety of sports.  Their family also includes 4 dogs (Baxter, Mia, Gabby, and Gus) that love running around the house, barking and taking naps in the sunshine.

    Sara has been serving Bank of Blue Valley customers for over 10 years! She came to us with a Bachelor’s of Arts degree from the University of Saint Mary’s. As a banking center manager, Sara prides herself on providing excellent customer service by offering convenient solutions to any financial need. You’ll see Sara at many of our community events as she is eager to represent Bank of Blue Valley and connect with our community!

    Outside of her busy role at the bank, Sara and her husband Jeremy have 2 kids: Caleb and Madi. Their kids keep them busy with baseball, basketball, and elementary school homework! As a family they cheer on the KC Royals, Chiefs, and the KU Jayhawks. Stop by and see Sara at our Olathe location!

    JR brings a varied skill set to the commercial real estate team at Bank of Blue Valley. Since 2009, JR has been working to liquidate the OREO (Other Real Estate Owned) properties the bank acquired from the housing market crash. His responsibilities include inspecting all of the houses under construction each month to track the completion percentage, reviewing and signing off on all appraisals that come through and assisting the commercial real estate loan officers in evaluating properties to possibly make new loans. His work has taken him to California, New York, Colorado and Nevada to rehab and sell the OREO properties.

    JR’s educational background is varied. JR graduated from Grandview High School, the Construction Technical School and the Bobbit Appraisal School. He also has his Johnson County Builder license with continuing education every year for the last 15 years, as well as RCRA Training for hazardous waste recovery. JR is also active on a volunteer basis, having been involved in the Bank of Blue Valley Charity Golf Classic and HBA Clay Shoot. He is also an HBA Associates Council Member and is on the worship singing team at Covenant Chapel. He is married to his wife of 30-plus years, Kim, and they have three sons, Evan, Chase and Taylor. The queen of their household is their dog, Daisy.

    Michael Copeland joined Bank of Blue Valley in 2016 as our Olathe Market President. He is no stranger to the Olathe Community, he has served as the city’s Mayor since April of 2001 and he continues to serve in that position today. During his time as Mayor, Michael has made wonderful improvements to our city and has been recognized for his service to the community by KVC Health Systems, Kids TLC, the Olathe Chamber of Commerce, and MidAmerica Nazarene University. He was also the Martin Luther King Jr. Legacy Award recipient in 2011. Michael currently sits on the board at KVC Health Care Systems and Union Station. Michael’s experience and knowledge of the Olathe market assists Bank of Blue Valley in meeting the needs of our growing community and expanding our depository and lending relationships.

    Michael moved here from southern California to attend MidAmerica Nazarene University where he graduated with a BA in Marketing and Management. It was during this time that he fell in love with Kansas City and decided this is where he wanted to live, work, and raise his family. He and his wife, Maria, have 3 children: Olivia, Abby and Joshua and a dog named Lucky. They enjoy spending time together in the city that Michael devotes himself to, Olathe, KS.

    Gary has been with Bank of Blue Valley since 2008 and is an integral part of our commercial lending team. In his role with Bank of Blue Valley, Gary focuses on providing local small business with the financing and SBA government loans they need for vital purchases to keep their business growing. 

    A resident of Lenexa, Gary graduated from Kansas State University with a B.S. in Business Management. Naturally, he roots for the K-State football and basketball teams along with the Royals and Chiefs. Gary also gives some of his time outside of work to volunteering with the Kansas City Catbackers, Kansas State Alumni for KC and Harvesters.

    Brian’s role within the commercial lending department allows him to showcase how Bank of Blue Valley helps local businesses and how easy it can be. Brian acts as a proactive partner for businesses within our community, striving to make business banking a positive experience. He typically works with businesses that either already own assets or are looking at acquiring new assets for their business. He makes sure local businesses know changing banks can be easy, and works to prove it every day.

    Brian is a graduate of Northwest Missouri State University, having earned a B.S. degree in finance. He is also a graduate of the Greater KC Chamber’s Centurions Leadership Program and Leadership Olathe. Brian is highly involved outside of work, volunteering with the Olathe Chamber of Commerce Board, Olathe Public Schools Foundation Board, coaching youth soccer & basketball and acting as a board member at St. Thomas the Apostle Church. His wife, Heather, works for The Vecino Group as an affordable housing developer and is very active on housing policy and working with the homeless population. They have two kids that both attend Olathe Public Schools, as well as a beagle-mix named Thunder and a guinea pig named Jack as pets. In 2011, Brian and Heather were named KC Humanitarians of the Year by Harmony/NCCJ.

    Molly began her career with Bank of Blue Valley in 2005 and spends her time helping customers as a Call Center Representative for the Bank of Blue Valley Helpline. Knowledgeable about Bank of Blue Valley’s products and services, Molly does anything and everything she can to assist customers who call in, as well as her coworkers throughout our five banking centers. 

    A wife and mother of four wonderful children, Molly stays busy outside of work in a number of ways. She volunteers with the Bishop Sullivan Center and Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. She also loves watching her grandchildren’s soccer, basketball, baseball and swim teams, which are her favorite sports teams.

    With over 30 years of lending experience under his belt – everything from ag, home and consumer loans to commercial loans – Charlie brings a great deal of experience to the commercial lending team. Having started at Bank of Blue Valley in 2007, Charlie works to bring in new loans and customer relationships, specifically small to mid-size growing companies where a long-term relationship can be built. He also services an existing portfolio of loans and is always on the lookout for ways to enhance relationships with customers by offering any banking services that fit their needs.

    Outside of work, Charlie volunteers some of his time with Braden’s Hope for Childhood Cancer – Gala Advisory Board and the Blue Valley Recreation Commission’s Finance, Administration & Risk Management Committee. Charlie has an extensive education background, with a BBA in Finance from Washburn University. He is also a graduate of the MBA School of Lending and MBA School of Bank Management. Charlie is married to Danita, and they have two children, Scott and Sarah. Charlie’s sports allegiances are with the Chiefs, Royals, Sporting Kansas City and John Brown University, where Sarah plays soccer.

    Possessing expert-level knowledge of Bank of Blue Valley’s products and services, Denise plays a crucial role in the Bank of Blue Valley Call Center. As the Call Center Officer, Denise trains Call Center Representatives and offers ongoing support for staff members in addition to answering calls from bank customers and non-customers alike to help them with any banking need. Having started at Bank of Blue Valley in 1999, Denise’s knowledge and commitment to delivering the best customer service experience possible have helped shaped the Call Center. 

    Customer service is not the only thing Denise finds pleasure in doing. She is also Bank of Blue Valley’s unofficial bank plant doctor and garden advisor, helping our banking centers stay as green as possible.

    Sandy started at Bank of Blue Valley in 2015 with 10 years of experience in Commercial Lending. She has a passion for her client’s businesses and she gets to live vicariously through them and their exciting endeavors!

    Sandy graduated from UMKC Bloch School of Business with a BBA in Finance. She and her husband, Don, reside in Grandview, MO with their 3 children and pets. She is very involved in her community as a Board of Director for the Grandview Chamber of Commerce, the Grandview Assistance Program, and the Grandview Education Foundation. When she isn’t busy as an employee, mother, or volunteer, Sandy enjoys running and has completed ten half marathons!

    Kevin has been with Bank of Blue Valley since 2005.  In his current role on our commercial lending team he helps provide KC Metro area companies with financing to enable them to grow and prosper. He works primarily with operating companies to finance working capital.

    Kevin attended Johnson County Community College and the University of Kansas where he earned degrees in Economics and Sociology. A Chiefs and KU basketball fan, Kevin tries to stay as active as possible, having completed a marathon in 2010, competing in triathlons, and completing the Pikes Peak Ascent. He also loves to travel to Colorado to hike and camp, as well as anywhere with a beach, especially Mexico. Kevin’s family consists of his wife, Jamie, a nurse practitioner, and their son, Lincoln, born in 2013.

    Kevin currently serves as a Community Advisory Committee member with REACH Healthcare Foundation.

    Marilyn loves working in the banking industry, as banking has been her career of choice for over 30 years. Marilyn began working at Bank of Blue Valley in 1998, and has managed the Bank of Blue Valley Call Center since it was created back in 1999. After all the time she has spent speaking with bank customers, Marilyn has always enjoyed finding solutions to fit each customer’s need, working to ease their concerns and being an advocate for bank customers.

    Bruce’s goal is to be accessible and responsive to prospects and clients, solve problems, and to get things done.  With over 40 years of banking experience with large regional banks and smaller community banks, he has a broad knowledge of numerous industries and has worked closely with a number of manufacturers, distributors, contractors, and a wide range of service companies to satisfy all of their financing needs. He has also participated in a wide variety of commercial real estate transactions and projects. Bruce has handled commercial loan relationships as small as $10,000 and as large as $40,000,000. 

    Bruce is a native of Kansas City, having graduated from Shawnee Mission East High School. He holds a degree in economics from the University of Kansas, and has developed a solid base of knowledge in the areas of business law, accounting, and financial analysis. His previous experiences help him to bring a great deal of creativity to the table. Bruce joined Bank of Blue Valley in 2007. He is passionate about serving customers as a commercial banking officer with a locally owned community bank.  Bruce keeps in regular touch with his customers and helps forge strong relationships that are of mutual benefit.

    Richard oversees the commercial construction/development lending department at Bank of Blue Valley. In his day-to-day work, Richard manages a portfolio of primarily residential home builders, assists with business development and project management, sits on the Internal Loan, Compliance, and CRA Committees,  in addition to participating in and volunteering at a variety of events sponsored by Bank of Blue Valley.

    Richard is also a member of the Home Builder’s Association Board of Directors and is an active member of the organization. A graduate of the University of Central Missouri with a B.S. in business administration with an emphasis in marketing, Richard enjoys being outdoors, waterfowl and sport hunting, and being an active member of his church. He has been married to his wife, Carolyn, for over 25 years and has one daughter, Katie. His family also includes two Pembroke Corgis, Vivian and Trudy, and one “grandpuppy,” Sheldon, a full-size black and tan Doberman Pinscher.

    As Vice President of Commercial Construction, Brandon is able to help the American Dream come true every day.     Jack has been with Bank of Blue Valley since 1996 working on financing for consumers and small business.     In addition to her role at the bank, Jacque stays very busy attending the sporting events and other extracurricular activities of her 14 nieces and nephews.     Bethany began her career with Bank of Blue Valley in 2001 and provides customers with a variety of beneficial services in her role in the cash management department.     Jenny joined the Bank of Blue Valley Trust Department in 2012 and works with the team in the Leawood Banking Center. Jenny assists with a variety of tasks and has numerous responsibilities including opening and closing trust & IRA accounts, assisting officers in account administration and transaction processing, fee and invoice processing, coordination of reports for Trust Committee meetings and security filing among others.

    Sheila has been with Bank of Blue Valley since 1999. In her role as 1st Vice President, eBusiness Solutions & Cashier, she oversees the Deposit Operations, Electronic Services, and Treasury Management areas of the bank.  These areas have a multitude of products and services to assist with the daily operations of the bank.  Sheila focuses on implementing and managing products and applications to provide consumer and commercial customers with enhanced service offerings and functionality through debit card, online, and mobile channels.

    Acting as the Lenexa Market President, Lisa has been an employee at Bank of Blue Valley since 2002.     Walter joined Bank of Blue Valley in 2011 and offers his services as a Trust Officer at our Leawood Banking Center. Walter helps individuals and couples plan for and make the most of their future by administering trusts, IRAs and investment management accounts to help them meet their specific needs and goals. Providing customers with high quality service day in and day out is Walter’s focus. 

    Walter earned his B.A. degree from the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill in 2002, and followed that with an M.T.I.M. (Master of Trust and Investment Management) from Campbell University and a J.D. from the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Law. A resident of Kansas City, Walter lives there with his wife, Deanna, daughter, Iris, and cat, Early. In his spare time, Walter volunteers at the Child Protection Center and cheers on Sporting Kansas City.
