Through the Company's wholly-owned subsidiary, Bank of Blue Valley, we provide financial services to closely-held businesses, their owners, professionals, and individuals in Johnson County, Kansas, a high growth, demographically attractive area within the Kansas City, Missouri - Kansas Metropolitan Statistical Area. In addition, we originate residential mortgages nationwide through our InternetMortgage.com website. Bank of Blue Valley, through it's wholly-owned subsidiary, Blue Valley Building Corp. owns the buildings and real property that comprise our headquarters, mortgage operations facility and Leawood banking center. The Company also has two other wholly-owned subsidiaries, BVBC Capital Trust II and BVBC Capital Trust III, which were created to offer the Company's trust preferred securities and to purchase our junior subordinated debentures.
